1. Worldwide Electronic Component Distribution Report

The Europartners Worldwide Electronic Component Distribution Report is an in-depth analysis of the component market and DTAM. It offers a unique insight into the electronic component distribution industry prepared locally by senior managers/directors who have a deep involvement with the industry. Check out some extracts by calling up this Word document!

Although component distributors 2003 revenues were generally poor across both Europe and North America, towards the end of the year signs were evident that the recovery, already seen strongly in Asia-Pac, was starting to impact both Europe and North America. Distribution markets for the year overall were, however, still down on 2002.

This year's report shows the 2003 revenues of all the major electronic component distributors in Europe and North America and shows who has gained or lost market share.

The report is an in-depth study prepared by people who have a deep involvement with the electronic component industry.

Each country report is written by locals who have detailed knowledge of the electronic component distribution industry. These reports analyse the market split into semiconductors, passives and electromechanical components and component assemblies.

This will be its 14th year of publication. Last year's report was sold to component manufacturers, component distributors, major equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and the financial communities across the world.

The 2004 report has been re-written and contains details of the overall European and International component distribution scene with profiles of major pan-European groups including: companies such as Acal, Arrow, Avnet, Eurodis, Future, Memec and others.

The 800 plus page Worldwide Report, contains the following information for Austria, Benelux, Czech Republic, Denmark/Norway, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Mexico, Poland, Russia, Spain/Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, UK and USA.

An introduction to the market in that particular country with detailed information on:
* the Distribution Total Available Market (DTAM) and the Total Available Market (TAM) for 2001,2002 and 2003, split into semiconductors, passive and electromechanical components.
* a 3-4 page summary on distribution events in 2003 in that country and the compilers view of year 2004
* overview of the merger/acquisition scene.
* overview of component manufacturers' policies in support of distribution.

Details of the top 10 electronic component distributors in each country including:
* Sales of each company in the country for the last 3 years split into semiconductors, passives and electromechanical components. PC market sales shown separately where relevant.
* Historical summary of each company, i.e., when formed, buy-outs, mergers, plus ownership details.
* Published profitability, where available.
* Name/Address/Phone/Fax/email/web details plus names of key managers.
* Franchise listing by major product category

Details of other significant distributors in the market including:
* Name/Address/Phone/Fax/email/web details.
* Ownership.
* Brief description of business.
* Market coverage.
* Approximate sales revenue for the last 3 years split into semis, passives and e-mech.
* Franchise listing.

All revenues for European countries are summarised in two currencies, the Euro and the US$. European countries that are not within the Euro are shown additionally in local currency. This is particularly important this year with such a marked change in €/$ exchange rates between 2002 and 2003. Trends using just $ can be very misleading!
All reports are in English.
